Costco has a magnum of Frontera that is a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend. For $7 a bottle it is a steal - and is smooth and velvety to boot. I don't
normally go for red blends, but it is delicious.

I tend to like red blends more than just the pure single grape reds, but I'm very fond of Pinot Noirs in general.

i am a huge fan of wine. my favorites are Rieslings but i do like a good Pino Grigio. i tend to stick with local wines--my two favorites are a Late Harvest
Riesling from Brys Estate and a Dolcetto from Ciccone Vineyard.

If you can find Stonehill wine, you should try the Steinburg White. It's made in Missouri and is really wonderful! here's the website....

Meg, I did a tasting at the Ciccone Vineyard! It was fun and delish!

As a Scotsman, I have to yell at you all because clearly the only drink worth drinking is lager. The stronger the better! Whiskey will also suffice!
But seriously, I do like me some red wine. Mavrodaphne is the best thing to come out of Greece since John Travolta! LOL I BELIEVE I MADE A FUNNY.
My signature is only one line. You're welcome!

I do have to agree with you on lager---it's in a very close 2nd behind a good glass of wine.

I'd gladly take a lager before a glass of wine. And whisky is my weakness.

I'm fortunate to live in a city where some of the best whiskey and beer in the world is available. Newcastle Brown Ale and Glenmoray is victory in
alcoholic form.

I'm going to be there next May. I'm pestering my dad about the two of us touring a couple of the distilleries. when it comes to beers, I prefer ales
rather than lagers. Have I said that already??
However, I enjoyed a Smithwicks earlier and then some Glenfiddich. It's a craptastic time for me right now.
